This shot was created in Unreal Engine 5 as part of a solo VFX showcase. The effects were designed with a stylized anime/cartoon RPG aesthetic via custom-built assets, such as textures and flipbooks, dynamic materials and shader functions, and Niagara systems with GPU and CPU emitters. Blueprint scripting was implemented to control effect timing, trigger events, and synchronize with in-game states.
